Suzanna graduated in 2014 with a diploma in conservation from Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden. Her thesis focused on a plasticine model for a bronze sculpture by Jacques Lipchitz. During her studies, she had the opportunity to conduct several internships, one of which was a 6 month-stay at the Sculpture Conservation Studio of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. From 2014 to 2015, she took part in the Getty Postgraduate Internship Program where she spent one year at the Getty Conservation Institute (GCI) within the Science Department. During her time at the GCI, she was affiliated with the GCI and Disney Animation Research Library Collaborative Research Project, which researches animation cels.
