From 1994 to 2001, Pamela Voigt studied architecture at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Germany. From 2001 to 2005, she researched and taught in the interdisciplinary research group FOMEKK (designing and constructing with fibre-reinforced plastics) at the Bauhaus- Universität Weimar. In 2007 she finished her dissertation on the art history subject: the pioneer phase of building with fibre glass-rein- forced plastics (GRP) 1942 to 1980. As a freelance architect, Pamela Voigt designs, re- searches and teaches about historic and modern constructions with plastics. She also does this in cooperation with Elke Genzel with the company BAKU (Bauen mit Kunststoffen – Building with Plastics).
