Markus Vaihinger is a food scientist and completed his studies with a diploma from the Department of Agricultural Food Science at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich in 2006. After working there as scientific research assistant in the Laboratory of Food Processing and Engineering, he is scientific assistant in the food technology section of the Swiss College of Agriculture since 2007. His major teaching, development and research areas are food technology and processing, food quality and safety, as well as instrumental and sensory analysis.
