Marc Egger is professor for the conservation of modern materials at the Department for Conservation and Restoration at the Bern University of the Arts. Since 2004 he is holding workshops and lectures, mainly dedicated to modern materials and kinetic art conservation. Besides this, he is involved in research projects concerning the conservation of contemporary art. In 2002 he obtained his diploma (FH) in the Conservation of Modern Materials and Media at the Bern University of the Arts. Since then he is also working part time in his own conservation studio, specialised in the conservation and restoration of contemporary art.
