Denise Madsack trained in conservation of modern materials and media at the Department of Conservation and Restoration of the Berne University of Applied Sciences. She has completed internships at Die Neue Sammlung – The International Design Museum, Historisches Museum Bern, Museum of Design Zurich and various free- lancers. In 2009 she finished her BA studies with her thesis about Acrylic Glass in Architecture – The Olympic Roof of Munich (1968-1972); in 2011 she graduated with her MA thesis about Rapid Prototyping – Rapid Ageing? Technology and Ageing Properties of Contemporary Art, Architec- ture and Design Objects Made by Rapid Prototyping. Currently, she works as an assistant conservator at Kunstmuseum Stuttgart and as a freelancer.
