Costanza Cucci graduated in Physics and got her PhD in Conservation Science from University of Florence (Italy). Since 2000 she has carried on her research activity at Institute of Applied Physics “Nello Carrara” IFAC-CNR, Florence. Her research interests include the applications of optical and spectroscopic techniques for the characterisation of materials with a focus on non-destructive methodologies, and the development and testing of sensors and optical devices for different applicative fields, such as: cultural heritage, environmental monitoring, controls of agricultural products. She has been involved in various national and international collaborative programs such as the EU projects LiDo and POPART.
