Anna Laganà is a conservator/researcher of modern materials. She graduated as conservator at the ISCR in Rome with a thesis on conservation of plastics. In 2006 she did a Master in Conservation Teaching at the conservation institute CCR in Turin. From 2007-2008 she worked as coordinator of the Contemporary Art Conservation Laboratory at the CCR. From 2008-2012 she worked at the RCE in Amsterdam, as a conservator/researcher of modern materials on research projects on plastics such as the EU project POPART. Anna is currently working as a free-lance conservator and researcher for institutes and museum in Italy and in the Netherlands. Beside her free-lance activities, she is working as a lecturer, giving workshops on plastics conservation for several institutes and universities.
